What is Google My Business?
An effective way to make your business listing attractive on Google is to ensure you list your basic business information (i.e. name, description, address, business hours, etc.) on “Google My Business”
Either visit the Google page and search for ‘Google My Busines’ or simply click here
You will need to input all your relevant information and you’ll be asked to verify your account with a code that they will post to you (usually takes 3-4 days).
The details can appear at the top of Google’s search engine results page and will let people know where to find you, how to get in touch with you and when you are open as an example. The latest version lets you post business updates, respond to reviews and look at analytics.
I recently reviewed a local interiors shop who has a My Business listing and within a week 70 people had viewed that post….. it is a powerful tool!

To increase your visibility, also try posting on other business platform, such as Bing Places for Business, Yahoo! Small Business and Yelp.
